Projects
For 25 years, Associated Constructors has been actively involved in community projects and has worked on many of the landmarks that make Bloomington-Normal recognizeable today.
Some of their most notable work includes the US Cellular Coliseum, the Children's Discovery Museum, and the Radisson Hotel.
They have also participated in the construction of projects in surrounding areas including Methodist Hospital East Campus in Peoria, Ottawa Savings Bank, and the Champaign Fire Station.
In 2006, Normal's Town Council voted to rename the business district Uptown Normal and to begin a series of extensive rennovation and revitalization projects. One of the first of these was the Children's Discovery Museum. In 2007, groundbreaking took place for what Normal Mayor Chris Koos called one of the most important pieces of that plan: The Marriott Hotel & Conference Center.
Associated Constructors is proud to be one of the key players in both the exterior and interior package for the proposed $56-million hotel and the $21-million conference center and parking garage.
